In 1987, Rosco Sayyar and Sam Ahmad were partners in the creation of the beloved chain, Aldo’s Italian Restaurant, which boasted 5 locations. In 1999, Sam and Rosco decided to open up a new concept and break apart from the chain. Realizing that at the time Douglasville did not have many options when it came to dining, both Sam and Rosco decided to elevate the menu to offer some other options while keeping the guest favorites. We wanted to capture the true essence of fine dining with high-quality food and service. At the time, Sam and Rosco’s was the only white tablecloth restaurant between West Georgia and Atlanta. Now 23 years in business as Sam and Rosco’s, we have developed an exceptional menu that boasts high-quality ingredients as well as unmatched service in a casual, yet elegant atmosphere.
